Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before your expedition.
Before You Ride
Most tours require at least 2 years of motorcycle experience and comfort on paved and gravel roads. Advanced expeditions (Patagonia, Mongolia, Andes) require off-road experience. We offer a pre-tour skills assessment call to ensure the right fit.
We don't lock you into a single owned fleet. For every tour we source and outfit the motorcycle that best fits your experience, height, and the terrain — adventure tourers, dual-sports, or other expedition-ready machines — with protection, navigation, and communication as the route demands. Bikes are inspected and prepared before every departure.
On select European tours (Alps Grand Tour), you may ride your own bike with a reduced tour fee. The motorcycle must meet our expedition equipment standards. International shipping assistance is available for an additional fee.
Every expedition is led by an experienced guide who knows the route and the group. We keep group sizes manageable, brief riders thoroughly before each day, and plan with safety and enjoyment as the priority.
